I am going to be honest and say that I don't like the tone of GC recently. I addressed it here and in the Lampoon thread and received numerous PMs thanking me for my comments.

I'm also pretty sick and tired of people going out of their way to mock my friend which includes starting threads and imitating her signature. If you don't like a gc member, there is no need to be mean.

I noticed that the mocking signature was changed, but in my opinion the damage was done. I don't know if the people who were rude were H&A. I don't know who the H&A are, but it seemed a pretty organized effort to mock, ridicule, and be mean. From my observation a group of people see a weakness and go out of their way to pick and pick and pick. It's like junior high. It hurt my feelings. I didn't address it because I thought that it was a one time only event with the bulldozer thread, but I was wrong. The snide comments have been going on for over a month, and I am personally sick of it. I do care about the hostility and the mean-spiritedness particularly when it is directly to someone who is my friend as well as my sister.

I think that it's a shame that Hootie and (probably) JAM are gone. I really think that they were driven off the boards due to the hostility around here. I saw it happen. I want to see it stop. You know who you are unless you have no insight into the way your behavior impacts other people.
