Now to be a bit more serious. I don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but I think one thing people need to recognize is that everyone who posts here and is in a org represents not only their org but all greek life. Sure it's one thing to say that in the Risk Management or sex threads, but try and keep that in mind in ALL of your threads. Removing a GLO or changing a name won't really amount to squat if Johnny and Suzy GDI/PNM waltz in here and see a bunch of squabbling greeks.

This is something we should always keep in mind. It's not Johnny and Suzy who are of concern, but maybe their parents who are trying to get a read on this Greek System. Or your own parents. It isn't only your organization you represent, but the rest of us as well -- whether you want to or not.
Moving on, I have received more PM's about thread than any other since I've been a moderator. About half want it closed, and the other half beg to keep it open.
I would always rather do the latter, but I hate personal attacks and I don't like it when someone feels they can break the TOS.
What's interesting is that there's no way the moderators on this forum can read every post, and I wouldn't haven even looked at this one if someone hadn't complained. It started out so well.
If we can, from this point on, debate with some degree of dignity and be at least cordial, it can stay.
