My sister in Christ, please remember that just as Blacks are not monolithic in their thinking, neither are Christians.
I think that your statement, "which as a Christian I am opposed to," perhaps purposefully, perhaps not, implies that a pro-life stance is the "Christian" vote. I am a Christian and I believe abortion is wrong, but I don't believe this moral issue should be legislated. Do I believe abortion is wrong? Yes. Do I believe its a sin? Yes. Do I believe what I consider sinful should be conferred on the rest of the nation? No. Thus, I am pro-choice- I don't believe its any of the government's business.
