I'm glad to see everyone posting on this subject. I have a tatoo on my lower back of an open book with a torch in the middle of it, with the greek letters "sigma gamma rho" and I also have a brand above my right ankle--which is the greek letter sigma. I believe that getting a brand or a tatoo is a personal choice. My brand is smooth and its not keloid. It actually came out quite nice and is lady like.
