I like pubs... it's something about the atmosphere.
I also like bars attached to restaurants. They tend to be quieter, and if you get the munchies or you just don't want to drink on an empty stomach, you can order some real food.
I do
not like sports bars, dance clubs, or anyplace where the music is so loud you can hear it three miles away.
I like to be able to hold actual
conversations with my friends when I go drinking.
