Depends on when you think they sold out. You think they did it with Adore, Machina, or are you one of those people that thought MCatIS was thier sell out point? The CD is nothing but the singles Machina, Adore, Mellon Collie, and I believe Siamese Dream. As a result, I'd only advise a casual pumpkins fan to bother buying it. Any more serious fan already owns all the CDs the singles are taken from and/or can think of a better set of SP tracks that wouldn't involve many singles at all.
Betarulz, on the off chance that you don't already have it (though I bet it would be safe to assume that you do), I'd suggest picking up Jimmy Eat World's "Clarity." It's one of the most solid CDs I've heard yet. People who otherwise hate JEW, alt/indie/emo/whatever (I'm bad at categorizing mucis) rock, or started out thinking it would suck have all sang the praises of this CD. Not saying you'll like it, but I'm hoping you will.
Oh, and some personal favorites of mine, none of which I can make any promises about
:
Juliana Theory - Understand This Is A Dream
Further Seems Forever - The Moon is Down
Just about any Taking Back Sunday CD
Jimmy Eat World - The Singles
Either Michelle Branch CD (Don't laugh. She and Jewel... awesome. Tried to hate each of them when they came out, just couldn't do it.)
