My school did the Senior Gift thing too. I honestly don't even remember what it was. I have not been getting the phone calls (yet), they're still calling my parents house. Which is just as well, since then they ask my dad (he's also an alum) and he donates. They do, however, send me emails.
My chapter has a scholarship fund set up through the ISU Foundation, so I can donate toward that cause and even get matching contributions from my work.
