True... but what I mean is a thread that stays at the top and gets locked but includes all the info that you posted. Kinda like in the News and Politics forum. (It's a thread called Rules of the N & P forum or something.)
Just so it's the first thing that people see when they come to the forum and don't start mulitple threads on it when they don't know that the search function exists.
