hmmm...(and I'm not judging you at all, 2D) But I am curious, especially if this is your "ace," your best friend, not just a regular friend about to make a bad move. I think everybody needs one somebody close enough to them who can say "this right here is some bullisht. You're wrong for that because of x, y, z, and I gotta call you on it" --and not worry that the friendship will suffer.

Granted you don't want too many folk with walk-in privilges like dat but I do have one friendship where I trust them enough to check me and vice-versa. ...but since I tend not to get ill like that
