I COB'd late so I never really got to meet any of the other houses on campus. There was never really a need b/c I always knew that Sigma Kappa is where I belonged. Anyway, after I joined, I went to an ice-cream social at the Delta Zeta house. The girls were incredibly sweet to me & one of them even gave me a tour of their house when I commented that their house was beautiful. When we finished the tour, some Tri-Delts had arrived & immediately started talking to me like a long lost friend. It was incredible. I was amazed that they would be that open & friendly to a complete stranger. To this day, I still talk to them & we get together & have fun when our schedules allow us to.
Then this summer, I took a summer school class where I met the most awesome Gamma Phi Beta and a Tri-Delta. We had lunch together on the last day of class & still talk via e-mail b/c one lives out of state & the other is traveling. We plan on getting together before rush to hang out.
My plan now is to make friends with the remaining sororities on campus. I have to befriend AOII's, Delta Gamma's, and Alpha Phi's. YAY!
