We are home from the pet store. We did not buy an iguana, but still got a lizard. My son fell in love with a bearded dragon. It is about a year and a half old, about 14 inches long, very nice-jusr sat on our shoulders and looked around.
We tried to talk my son out of it--the lizard and the 40 gallong aquarium was a lot more than we wanted to spend. But end the end--he won. Everything is set up and on the entertainment ceter in his bedroom.
For the moment it's name is Lizzy--- so far (w/in 2 hours) it's name has been-- Scooby, George, Bernie and Lizzie.
The store has another dragon they can't "sell" with the others--as it is missing 4 toes on one foot-- I think we are now going back tomorrow for that one. They are charging about 1/4 the price for the toe-less one since we bought one today.
