The Delta-Zeta chapter of Phi Delt at Knox College was just shut down this past Spring Term for "risk management violations" *sigh* It was very sad to see the college maitanence guys pull the letters and crest off the house. They say they'll be gone for at LEAST 5 years or so.....this is the 2nd time in 4 yrs that they've been shut down only this time it will be for more than one year
I was really sad to learn this. I have a lot of senior buddies in that fraternity and it came as a real blow to them....especially since they were the 'new blood' following the re-opening of Phi Delt in Fall 2000. Now Knox has only 4 fraternities and 2 sororities...*sigh* I really hope Phi Delt is allowed to come back, especially when they're essentially paying for the transgressions of one or two brothers.
