I have mixed opinions on this.. in a way I think it's awesome because the New Member Ed can do more activities to allow the NM to gradually learn the info and really have fun learning about it.. and the actives can play an even more active role in helping them learn about the fraternity..
BUT.. wow 8 weeks?? 6 weeks had perfect timing for my NM class and this last semester I felt like everything fit in perfectly as well.. everything got hectic right at the end of it all.. hmm.. and yeah for those Quarter schools.. man it's going to suck for them!
