ooooo, I'm not a big fan of this descision. Since i was a new member not to long ago i remember how stressful and busy the new member period can be. It was so much fun but there is just so much to do! Also you have to take into consideration that the majority of new members are freshman, so trying to adjust to college and balancing you school work can be a tuff thing. The six week new member period that i experienced was enough to time to gain complete respect for the fraternity and to learn everything i needed to know, but I was relieved when it was over and could just be a normal member.
