I got a new one.
I felt really proud to be a Sigma Kappa when I was at the Dodger Game last week and some strange guys came up to me and my boyfriend to tell me that they LOVE the ladies of SK! They were Sigma Pi's and one guy pulled out his keychain that had our letters on it! I was excited and happy!
I felt really proud when after that incident, on the way back to our seats, my boyfriend told me that he never really cared one way or the other about me joining a sorority but he never really understood what it was all about. After seeing the guys talk to me, it finally hit him that it's not about parties and wild times. These are people that may not know me personally but b/c we all stand together for Greek Life, they just know that I am a part of something special!
I felt really proud too when that same night, a group of Sig Eps lauded the praises of SK to me in the parking lot making my boyfriend say he was a lucky guy to have found someone like me that can make men break out into song at the parking lot of Dodger Stadium!
I am a lucky gal!
