It's incredible how people can do things like that for "fun". These are the type boys that grow up to be serial killers. "Inflicting pain and death on animals as a youth" is one of the DSM-IV criteria for diagnosing antisocial personality disorder, which is the most common p.d. among serial killers or other criminals that fail to show remorse.
