So American Smarties are more like Canadian Rockets. Canadian Smarties are like American M&M's. If you want to eat Canadian Smarties at Convention, I think that you need to bring them. If you bring Smarties, make sure you have enough for everyone, lol! I hope that I answered your candy questions. BTW American Smarties are good, but not as good as M&M's.
