I was offered a job by Disney right after I got my doctorate. My salary offer was so low--it was the standard offer for newbies--that I would've actually been at poverty level in Orlando. They were so shocked that I declined and said, "But you'd be working on a firsthand basis with MICKEY!!"
What was with that? I would have been working in the Land Pavilion at EPCOT.
