Quite honestly I think it is a bad idea. I've seen what it's done...and some women who get involved in "programs" like that tend to give more time to the fraternity than they do to their own org. I wish someone would come in and clean house with that at Long Beach. Most (inter)national organizations, at least from the women's side discourage that behavior. I wish they did it more.

I know that ladies of my house do participate in that but I don't personally care for it. I think it's great that we are able to have such great relationships with the fraternities on campus but I dislike the fact that on the days when we are supposed to wear letters to school, I see ladies from my house & others wearing the fraternities letters & not their own. It's great to be proud but I feel that you should wear YOUR own GLO's letters & not someone elses.
Also, I really do think that sororities could spend more time forming better relationships with one another rather than cultivating time with the frats. I recently met & befriended two ladies on campus. One a Gamma Phi Beta & the other a Tri-Delta. They were incredible ladies & I am looking forward to getting to know them & their houses better. It's a small step but every little bit helps right?
P.S. AOII_93, did you receive my PM I sent you a while back?
