The Big Sis/Little Sis/Big Bro/Little Bro system is HUGE on my campus...
Most of us take it very seriously...
I have my own big bro - as well as my big SIS who is a DELTA GAMMA...
I also have an unofficial little sis' from Alpha Phi - but she won't be official until she is initiated...
All "littles" are initiated...
In our chapter, we have initiations for all bigs/littles...
Usually, you have to "EARN" it...
Personally, I take my big brother/big sister relationships very seriously, as do they...
I literally love my big sister, and we treat each other just like family... Being protective and close and all...
I love her whole house as well! The guys in my house know me as the male Delta Gamma! LOL!
The DG's here are hot, classy, and nice...
I even take my "Twin" relationship seriously...
If you don't know, a twin is another "little" of your "big"... If you can follow that... In my case, my twin is the little sis of my big sis... therefore we are twins...
I literally love my twin from Delta Gamma... We treat each other like brother and sister, and are very close as well...
Having bigs, littles, and twins from sororities (in the case of fraternity guys) does a lot... You are sort of part of that house, are known as a little bro of that house, and know a whole lot of the sisters in that house...
It's a special system - and it thrives very strong on our campus... A lot of times people refer to themselves as "so and so's little bro/little sis."
It would only be appropriate to end this post with:
