Well, actually, it was mainly the older right wing, conservative Repubs who made the fuss and told him he should consider dropping the campaign. It was the Chicago Tribune that sued to have the records unsealed, too...not the Dems.
Also, like I said re: clinton, what he did should have been discussed and dealt with within his family ONLY. The same goes for Ryan. Peoples' private "affairs" should not be politicized. I understand the whole thing about the question of integrity, but there are plenty of politicians who lack integrity and it comes out in ways other than their marital situations. No one is perfect and neither of these guys, Clinton nor Ryan, should have suffered politically for such private situations in their lives.
