My friend from Illinois, who lived in a suburb of Chicago (which she said was more diverse than most of the midwest) was in culture shock when she moved to Jersey. She said everything was different.

Plus, we are very overcrowded, have short tempers, and we KNOW our Italian food. fuhgettaboutit!
