My chapter attends church together once a year. We wear letters and pins- whatever is appropriate in the worship service.

Would I wear letters on a regular Sunday? Not really. Once in a blue, I may take a bag if I need to carry some extra things to service. If I were doing something during the service that represented Zeta, then I would.

Myself and another soror sing in the same group. We wear T-Shirts and hats and whatnot to REHEARSALS only. When we are ministering? No way. It's not appropriate.

Plus, you must remember-not every church accepts fraternities and sororities. You just have to use wisdom. If you are not familiar with the congregation, I would err on the side of leaving your letters at home. Better to be safe than embarrased and called out.
