Amen!!!!!!! I totally agree. I went through it with my best friend who is a Pentacostal Elder. He was raised that no man should serve 2 masters, and that you shouldn't take an oath to anything else not of God. Granted, that is clearly scripture, and I do believe the Bible to be the be all and end all. However, I had to stand on my convictions, and tell him that, even though I know the Word of God for myself, I had to do what I felt I was being led to do. Now, he is one of my biggest supporters, and is excited when I tell him about what I am doing with my Zeta chapter. Believe me, it's taken a while to get to this point. We agreed to disagree, but on the same token, we support each other 110%.

I prayed and WAITED! Notice, I typed WAITED in caps. It has taken me a number of years to get to where I am now. Be sure this is what God wants you to do, and that this is what you are to be doing at this time in your life.

I am heavily involved in music ministry, and I will soon prayerfully, be in training to be licensed to preach (PRAY FOR ME Y'ALL). There have been times where Zeta and Ministry have conflicted heavily. But when I got saved, I declared that I would follow God. When these conflicts arise, I pray. Then I do what thus sayeth The Lord.
