I have an Itialian Charm Bracelet which I love. It actually is Delta Zeta based (my mom bought it for me with the DZ and a turtle already on it and along the way, my lil, adopted big and closest pledge sister have all contributed to it, along with my best friend)
Then, I have a traditional charm bracelet that my grandmother got for her 16th birthday, she added charms from when she was in the army and stationed in the South Pacific in WWI, then she gave it to my mother for her 16th birthday, my mom had added to it, and for my 16th birthday, my mom gave it to me, and I have also added to it.
I didn't wear my grandmother's bracelt from the time I was 13 til I was about 19 because I thought it was too childish.. but then my mom told me about the charms that her and my grandmother had put on it (the stories) and I decided to wear it again, especially since my grandmother passed away when I was 3, so basically the bracelet is the only memory of her that I have. Plus, people always ask about the extremely different charms that I have.
I say, if you like it, wear it.. who cares what other people think!
