I work in jewelry.

Depending on how big the town is that you live in, it can be pretty difficult to find a store who will purchase jewelry. Most (but I can't say for sure, ALL) chain stores are not able to buy your jewelry from you. You are more likely to have luck in a small, privately owned store. You might have to make quite a few phone calls before you find a store that will purchase these.

The good news is that the items that you have, especially with the certification, will be able to get a pretty good price and be easy to sell. I can't say for sure whether it would be better to sell as a set. If the diamond band seems like a higher carat weight, it might be more beneficial to try to sell it separately.

Some people also have pretty good luck selling their jewelry in the classified ads of your newspaper. Although it may be hard to believe, guys who are thinking about getting engaged might be interested in your rings!

I have never seen anyone get anywhere CLOSE to the resale value of the diamond when someone sells their engagement ring on Ebay. It might happen, but usually the price isn't equal to the worth.

Good luck!
