What did Ray Charles leave in his will? The legendary musician passed away last week from liver cancer. He had been sick for the past year and now his family is preparing for his home-going. Ray donated millions to charity, but he also left millions of dollars in his estate. Ray left behind 12 children, 20 grandchildren, 2 ex-wives and several paternity suits. Sources say if anyone comes forward to contest his will it will hold up any payouts to family members who were left with money. A new Ray Charles album is coming out on August 31st. The album features Ray with Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Johnny Mathis, Elton John and Diana Krall. In October the Ray Charles story comes to the big screen as Jamie Foxx stars in the movie Unchain My Heart.

Author J.L. King is coning to Philly. J.L. is the author of the book On The Down Low: A Journey Into The Lives of Straight Black Men Who Sleep with Men. J.L. appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show a few weeks ago and his book has created quite a stir. Community College of Philadelphia Health and Wellness Center and the Literary Café will cosponsor a presentation and book signing for the AIDS/HIV activist. The program is the kickoff for a series of activities spotlighting “National HIV Testing Week.” The event is Monday June 21st, at Community College of Philadelphia 17th and Spring Garden, Bonnell Building 6:00-8:00 PM. The event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase.

I read the book and somehow, I wasn't convinced. It all seemed fake. Even though he may be gay, formally DL, or whatever, the book was a crock! This dude seems to have "created" these stories to make cash. It worked, but damn!

Michael Jackson’s baby brother Randy is shaking up Michael’s inner circle. During the past week Randy has fired John McClain and Bob Jones two men who have been with Michael for years. Jones has been with Michael since he was 12 years old. He was the Vice President of Communications for MJJ Productions. McClain was the force behind Janet Jackson he was the one who helped to put her on the map. He has been associated with the family for over 25 years. What is Randy doing? Why is he getting rid of longtime Jackson Associates? Sources say he is making all the decisions regarding Michael and he doesn’t want to share the spotlight with anyone. Friends say Jones was particularly upset about his firing, because he never saw it coming. He was one of the few who never signed an agreement of confidentiality so many are wondering will he talk. He has been with Michael through every scandal and marriage. Will he write a tell-all book and expose the real Michael Jackson?

Justin Timberlake claims he got lucky with Janet Jackson. In an interview with an Australian newspaper he talks about his rumored affair with Ms. Jackson and he says he got lucky. He also said how lovely and beautiful she is. He has not spoken to her since their infamous Super Bowl “malfunction.” Janet was not too pleased with Justin’s comments. She says Justin has changed and he is getting too big for his britches. Janet spoke about Justin in an interview with the Australian Sunday Mail. Janet says he’s changed and is very cocky. Janet says if there was a contest between Usher and Justin Timberlake, Usher would win hands down because he is more talented. She says some people can’t handle success referring to Justin. She also talked about today’s music scene claiming too many of today’s top artists are in it for the money and not for the love of music. Meanwhile Usher is planning a two month tour. There’s no word yet on any Philly dates.

Former Apprentice star Omarosa is not finished seeking her 15 minutes of fame. Omarosa says she would get buck naked for Playboy Magazine if they gave her $2 million.

Mariah Carey has enlisted Kanye West, R. Kelly and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to help her with a new album. She’s also working on an illustrated children’s book about a bi-racial orphaned girl and she wants to do another movie.

She can hire St. Peter and will never be hot again. Even though Glitter and Wise Girls weren't that bad, she's no actress.

Denzel Washington and Laurence Fishburne are in talks to do a movie together. Director M. Night Shylamalan (Signs) will direct.

When do advanced tickets go on sale?

Blair Underwood will be providing the voice of the dad on the Nickelodeon animated series Fatherhood. The show premieres on Fathers Day. He’s also starring in a new NBC series this fall called LAX. Underwood co-stars with Heather Locklear and he’ll play the terminal manager of an airport.

I was wondering who was going to do that voice. I am gonna miss Gregory Hines as the voice of Big Bill. I hope that Blair's show does well. Maybe since he displayed some "skills" on SATC, the "other half" may actually tune in.

Maia Campbell opens up in the latest issue of Sister to Sister Magazine. Maia is the daughter of author BeBe Moore Campbell, she also played “Tiffany” on the LL Cool J series In The House. Maia has developed quite a reputation and she talks about her battles with drugs and depression. Maia says she did it all from ecstasy to weed to cocaine. She has been drug free since 2002, and she is the mother of two girls.

Is American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino in danger of losing her title? According to published reports Fantasia signed a deal with a professional management company before she signed up for Idol. That may disqualify her from winning the show’s one million dollar recording deal. Did Fantasia Lie? According to Idol rules you are not permitted to have a current recording talent management contract. Tracy Smith of Atlanta claims Fantasia signed a deal with her when she was 15 with her parents. Fantasia is now 19. If Fantasia has to give up her title it would go to runner up Diana Degarmo.

What’s going on with P. Diddy? He missed his weekend performances on Broadway in “A Raisin in the Sun” due to illness? What made him sick? Was it the public news that he’s been cheating on his baby’s mother, Kim Porter. Diddy has been spotted with a pretty Asian woman. He’s been seeing her on the sly because he didn’t want to hurt his youngest son’s mother, model Kim Porter. Now Kim knows and I’m sure she let P. Diddy have it.

This P. Diddy/kim situation is played out. He's been doing his thing for years and it's no secret. I wish I could get to NY and catch the show. I wanna see it.
