Don't get me wrong...I've found some excellent surf shops in Atlantic and Neptune Beaches.....but as far as the houses on the ocean, they seemed a little run down compared to PVB.

i have to agree with you. that is why i do not like Atlantic Beach. it does not look that great. i adore Ponte Vedra Beach cause i love the seclusion of the neighborhoods. it has a very elite atmosphere. not too crazy about most of the people that live there (this of course excludes you craig) but the houses, hotels, and well just about everything are so beautiful. in between ponte vedra and st. augustine is the crappiest and scariest beach i have ever been to....Vilano Beach. that beach freaks me out.
