I agree. It has been stated by several government officials that there are sufficient volunteers such that a draft would not be necessary.
The reason Selective Service is appealing to the public for people to volunteer on draft boards is because board members can only serve 20 years, so everyone who has served since the early 80s needs to be replaced.
