Seriously, nokittyno, best of luck if you do decide to go through recruitment. Each of the organizations you mentioned (ADPi, KD, and ZTA) are all wonderful, and have great representatives of their organization right here on GC! Just relax and be yourself...as others have said, it's sometimes more difficult to be extended a bid as an *older* prospective member, but it's not necessarily *impossible*. I joined ADPi as a sophomore at my university, and never looked back.
In regards to the dating thing....I never had a boyfriend while in college, so whenever a *date* function came around (i.e. formals) I always brought my best guy friend as my *date*, and he had just as much fun as I had, if not more sometimes
