Like you I transferred schools, and was a little freaked out at first because it was a BIG move for me (8.5 driving hours from home
) I was scared, and even felt silly for feeling that way, but I went to COR events for ADPi
I joined my chapter as a junior as well!
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best!
.. and don't worry about the date thing for functions! Dating or not, you could always take a friend of yours, and if your good friend is busy you can always ask your sisters to help you find one! (Some women in my chapter did that for formal, and it worked out great... honeychile's story comes to mind... "Quick! I need a date named Joe!!" hehehe
