In Boston, you pray for a parking space. And then you drive around and pray some more.
Most students don't bring cars simply because it's not worth the hassle. By the time you find a parking space, you could have walked or taken public transportation to the place you were intending to go.
Prices are expensive. Overnight parking stickers are $1,000 per year on campus lots. But that's a bargain compared to the city-at-large. Boston parking spots get
SOLD individually for over $100,000! Often included at that price with a condo or house.
