I've argued with many people that the only reason that Madonna has still lasted is because she actually had to learn to really SING for Evita.....if it wasn't for that her voice would have been shot years ago.
DMB and Dave solo....I didn't really like "Crash" all that much in the first place and then everyone at my high school became DMB clones...you could be driving down the road and see a DMB bumper sticker and be almost sure to see a Notre Dame High parking pass in the same car.
I don't really listen to all that much pop (AKA anything written this century that's not Broadway or Mexican) music anymore...
Charlotte Church and Sarah Brightman are my kind of music's GO AWAY NOW people.....
Oh yeah, and Pavarotti...you had your moment...now GO AWAY...
He's started making these "Opera for Kids", "Opera for School Teachers", "Opera for People Who Don't Like Opera", "Opera for People Who Like Opera", "Opera for Your Dog"(ok, now I'm just getting stupid, but you get the point)...and EVERY SINGLE ONE has "Nessun Dorma" (his signature song) on it....even if you don't listen to Opera (which I'm assuming most of you don't) you can see how that would get annoying....
