One more thing. I heard on the news today that Las Vegas DIMMED the LIGHTS on the Strip today out of RESPECT for President Reagan. Apparently that has only happened 6 times since Las Vegas has been Las Vegas.
What a WONDERFUL TRIBUTE.

In 1963, on the day of the funeral for John F. Kennedy, Las Vegas casinos also closed their doors for the day. The lights were also dimmed in memory of the victims of 9/11.
Since then, the lights of the Strip have been dimmed six times (seven if you include President Reagan) as a gesture of respect, to include Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra
