I hope you weren't justifying such acts on the part of a woman. It's one thing to [legitimately IMO of course) vilify the abuser but quite another to try and justify capital punishment at the hands of the spouse. There are helplines (which can only offer little comfort admittedly) and
shelters, which can be a halfway place. The solution you seem to think is 'understandable' (?!), cannot be so.
