Here at Alabama, home of the infamous "door songs," we sing the rushees in and out of the house during formal fall rush. We start out with the "G Phi, GPhiB, Gamma, Gamma Phi Beta" cheer, then go into the "G A MM A, Gamma Phi Beta, Hey!" cheer while stacked on top of each other in the door.

Then we sing one of our two welcome songs as we form a tunnel to let the rushees in:

Gamma Phi Beta welcomes you here,
come on and join our fun and our cheer
We're on the U of A campus, sorority row,
The Gamma Phis shout a welcome hello!
Oh would you like to be another Gamma Phi,
and wear our crescent and pearls on high,
So come on along and we'll show you why,
all over this land, number one's GAMMA PHI!

Then, once the party is over, we lead the girls out and begin singing one of our goodbye songs:
