I was influenced by two people when I decided to join Theta. One of them made me feel at home the first day that I walked in the door and we just seemed to have a great connection. She became my twinstar and kept me involved in Theta the entire time that I lived out of house - calling me, picking me up, etc.
The other person just seemed so down to earth and fun when I talked to her, that meeting her helped me picture myself as a member of the chapter. Oddly enough, she also played a huge role in my Theta life - she became my pledge mom.
I still keep in regular contact with both of them.
