Cassie and Matt, Great for both of you!
Again, mine is a little different.
I founded the local at PSU, Ks.
I was turned down by many of the OLD LINE Fraternitys.
One Erik Conard who you have seen on site was the TKE Advisor.
Knowing that I wanted to do something different Very Strongly suggest LXA. "No I said, they are to new, only 1909"!
I heeded his advice and have never looked back for the simple reason of The Great Fraternity and The Many Brothers that have come after me at My Chapter and the many Brothers that I have ment All over the Country!
What you as new aspirants must look for is who are the people that you will be joing for life, is the Organization someone that you feel comfortable with, do you aspire to the same ideals.
There is a lot more than knowing someone in a certain Orgaization, as down the road, actually is what really counts.
While it does help knowing someone, it does not hurt to look around. Never know what may turn up!
The very best of luck to both of you!
We have a saying as I am sure all of us do, "Seek And Ye Will Find".
