I actually went into recruitment hoping I'd be a member of a different organization....while I got along great with everyone pretty well in that GLO, I really hit it off with the woman who first greeted me the first day of recruitment in ADPi (her name was Jamie). Once we started talking, we never ran out of things to say....and the great thing was she was also from California, which was great to talk about being so far from home. Throughout the week, I talk to Jamie a couple of other times, and then she wound up preffing me on the last night. When talking with her, I started crying, and knew that I had found the connection I was looking for in a sorority. Jamie didn't wind up as my diamond sister, but she was the first sister that I really bonded with and the one who got me to consider ADPi very seriously as the sisterhood for me!
