Hi cassie612! I'm so excited to hear your enthusiasm about joining a GLO.
I went through rush my freshman year but dropped out because I didn't feel like I fit into one specific chapter and I didn't know if I was ready to make the commitment. I met a girl named Melody through a class and we studied a lot together. I also met another girl, we'll call her Jane, in another class who talked up Chi O a lot to me and she was the reason I decided to go through rush again. Well, I found out about a day before rush started that Jane had dropped Chi O and I was crushed because she was the one who had told me how great it was. On preference night I was still unsure about where I wanted to go, especially since I had gotten that news. Melody and I were talking at pref and I decided to ask her flat out why Jane had dropped. She told me that she didn't really know (I'm sure she did, but that's not something you discuss with a PNM) and then proceeded to tell me how much she wanted me to be a part of her chapter and be one of her sisters. I could tell that she was sincere and I knew right then what my choice would be.
