If someone with an illness posted on here to say, "I feel completely sick" to vent and get a little advice or whatnot, would go call that gay? Something to think about.

I'm glad others are nice enough not to think me going through medicine withdrawal and being depressed was "ghey".
Look, I wasn't trying to start anything personal here. Sure, you're entitled to your own opinion, but if you think I have no heart because of something like that, I'd be afraid to see how you react to people in the 'real world'. I'm also not too concerned, because YOU ARE A STRANGER, ON THE INTERNET. **This is something you may want to work on.** You know, you can come on GC for whatever reason you please, whether it's to vent, get sympathy, joke around, or make people feel bad for you. There's a myriad of reasons and I've seen all of them. But look back a page or two...all I'm saying is that if you really were this person who's the opposite of what you dislike in others (being insensitive or critical or whatnot), you wouldn't have kept up the snarky comments in Dionysus's direction when others began posting negative stuff towards her.
Why can't you just be above that? Maybe she should have been above that, too. But don't act like you just came here to vent and get some stuff off your chest....because that might have been how it started, but you were all too happy to let the thread turn into something else. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine, people masking insults or using backhanded comments to mask what they're really trying to say.
So excuse me for not being clearer...you going through no meds/withdrawal/whatever= not ghey. The original thread= not ghey . What it turned into was. And I'm sticking with that. I think I'm done here...after you got the "Are you ok??? Cheer up!!" 's, this thread should have been done.
