Choosing to wear JNCO's & comfortable clothing doesn't make you a skater girl/boy under the age of 18 or 21.

Choosing to loc/dread one's hair doesn't classify them as the next Nikki Giovanni/Maya Angelou/India Arie/Lauryn Hill/Angie Stone/Jill Scott and the style of dreadlocs isn't limited only to African Americans.

If someone talks "proper" (wtf is PROPER?) it doesn't mean that they're trying to be something that they're not.

Just because someone has his/her lip, tongue, belly button, etc. pierced doesn't not make them a freak nor does it give you the right to stare at them...just because their tongue is pierced doesn't mean that they got it pierced for sexual pleasure.

Every chick that is a size 0 doesn't have an eating disorder...on the same note...being a size 0 doesn't make it any easier to find clothing that's CUTE & COMFORTABLE.

Just because I speak Spanish & Japanese doesn't mean that I'm Latina/Asian.

Just because my complexion is slightly different than both of my parents doesn't make me ADOPTED....it's just GENETICS & ANCESTRY!!! People come in all shades, shapes, colors, and sizes...scary thought...IMAGINE THAT!

As a former cheerleader I can say that all cheerleaders are not white, blonde, promiscuous, ditzy, snobby, & clique-ish.

All short people don't have a complex w/ something to prove to the world nor do they all have a constant attitude.

Just because I'm from KANSAS CITY doesn't mean that I'm from KANSAS...there is a Kansas City, MISSOURI...home of the CHIEFS, ROYALS, BLADES, WIZARDS, GATES BBQ, & yes...the Country Club Plaza.

Just because I live in MISSOURI doesn't mean that I know Nelly, Murphy Lee, Chingy, and J-Kwon (sp?)...ST. LOUIS...is not the only city in MO.

Being a FEMALE doesn't mean that I must watch the Oxygen Channel, Lifetime, and WE! faithfully.....I happen to loooooooooove ESPN...gotta have my SportsCenter, Cold Pizza, and Around the Horn.

Just because I am a FEMALE doesn't mean that I'm addicted to Oprah and shopping.....I'm addicted to NCAA Football, Women's and Men's NCAA Basketball (GO MIZZOU TIGERS!!!! GO BIG 12!!!), Six Feet Under, and The Sopranos.

Just because someone dates outside their race(s) doesn't mean they're a sellout....*a sexy man/woman is a sexy man/woman*....who gives a shit about race!

Just because I support gay marriage doesn't make me bi-curious, a closet lesbian, or anti-religious/spiritual...it's all about human rights in my eyes!

The word N-word is not a synonym for African American, Black, Hispanic, or Latino/a...it is a synonym for IGNORANCE regardless of race, creed, color, heritage, ethnicity, or nationality.
