My condolences to his family. I am sure his illness was extremely hard on all of them. May he be at peace.
Rudey, yes, presidential libraries are open to the public. I have been to the LBJ Library in Austin many times. Very interesting to see, and I would recommend visiting any of them. Yes, parts are restricted, (the actual archives and papers) but the many open exhibits are well worth your time.
