I just saw it! I can't believe we went on opening day but my husband and I took our middle school-aged sons. I'm glad we didn't take the younger kids, as the dementors would've been a bit much. We'll let them see it at home when the DVD comes out--it'd be much better for kids on a smaller screen.
We liked it but y'all are right about the choppiness. Plus the stuff they left out from the book--Mr. Carnation, who hasn't read it, is seriously confused at this point.
