Okay... NO!
My boyfriend plays football for our university, and we argue about this all the time.
1. I graduated well within the top 10 percent of my class; he didn't come close. Now that's cool, but while my mother
struggles to come up with the expenses my partial scholarship doesn't cover, he pays nothing.
2. I live in a small dorm room and share a community bath. He has his own apartment, own bathroom, swimming pool, a cafeteria
at the apt. complex, facilities where the atheletes receive FREE tutoring when they want it...

Plus a healthy stipend while I work my behind off at my workstudy!
I realize that atheletes bring a lot of money into the university, especially since the one we attend is private and not state-funded, but my
goodness. Where does it end? Seems like academic success isn't high on the priority list for being rewarded!
