My out-laws were an odd bunch - half owned cattle, the others were Seventh Day Adventiists & vegetarians. I once asked my father-out-law the name of one of the steers, and he said, "Honey, you don't name dinner."

I go through phases of vegetarianism, too. As long as Morningstar Farms is around, I can handle it.

But I could never, ever be a vegan. I don't have the necessary moral imperative.
