I'm not a member, but I always have an opinion.

No matter what organization it is, greek or otherwise, there will always be members who don't exemplify the principles the org was founded upon. They slip through the cracks, and that's just life. All 4 NPHC sororities are represented on my campus, and I can't see ANY of them saying anything like this. I think it's important to take things like this with a grain of salt and realize it's not necessarily a reflection on the org as a whole. Having said that, of course I think it's classless and inappropriate.
I want to add a twist to the question. If a sorority said this chant, they would be questioned immediately for their lack of class and dignity. But if you heard a frat perform the same chant, would it have the same bearing on your opinion of them? Why or why not?
