Didn't the sex in missionary position thing come from the church somewhere? Or was it that way back when these people weren't as "sexually liberated" as we are now (i.e. not liking a lot of different positions, not letting the woman tell the man what she liked, etc.)? I don't want to get into this huge discussion about sex, but it's my opinion that when these laws were made 1-people probably didn't talk about sex as openly as we do now, 2-there used to be a time when sex wasn't viewed as "pleasurable" for the woman (it was a sin), and 3-again, I think there was some kind of law from the church or something that made people think this was the only acceptable way to reproduce. Also, I'm pretty sure I learned somewhere along the way that in some religions oral sex is considered a sin - hence the laws prohibiting it.

Also, chances are, when these laws were passed, women may not have had the vote let alone the voice to speak out against a proposed law.

Did that make any sense?
