I also come baring ice cold truth...
Speaking on behalf of the bruhz of A PHI A...
brotherhood can come in any color!
but sometimes we engage in petty conversations that make us look shallow (and have folks thinking that our despise for one another is deeper than it really is)
I think that on many campuses (especially HBCU's) we take our uniqueness for granted (as BGLOs). I don't care if he's wearing blue and white, crimson and cream, brown and gold, or Gold and purple...I just want him to have my back when the thick gets thin! Yah Heard!
The same goes with the sororities...We often don't think about ways we can work together as an entity to make a communal and global impact on the livelyhood of Black Folks (and conversely everyone else)
As I once heard a speaker say...."if we act as though we are fivolous...the frivolous will want to join...if we act as though we are brothers/sister...than brothers/sisters will come"
just some Oh six sense in a Blue & White World....
just a little shot out to the lovely ladies of ZETA PHI BETA
Aaaaaaaaaa-Zeeeeee (keep it on the hush, don't want yo' bruhz to come get me) ha ha ha!
