Hi
Yup it can be a little extreme in that book

. She has a good writing style though - it's hard to put down!
(I bought a copy and have read it).
It does concentrate as far as traditionally white sororities, on the larger Greek system of the colleges in the Southern US states though. As opposed to trying to be all encompassing. It is a good read.
Per what adpiucf said, I think this thread is the best one:

A lot of people have shared opinions in there, some of the other threads got heated... so that one sprang up. Look forward to seeing more of your thoughts over there and since I haven't seen your posts before, welcome to GreekChat!

p.s. Don't get upset by any suggestions you do a search, some people get sensitive about stuff that has supposedly been discussed before, or get sensitive if you bring up an old thread. Sometimes it might seem like you can't win.
With almost 50,000 threads chances are most things might've been touched on but it's always good to have fresh ideas, inputs and experiences. Using the search function is useful to keep things in one place/easy to find plus to learn stuff that's been said that might be of interest. But like I say it's maybe just us being neat freaks. I'll stop rambling now. x
